Scott and Arron hope to be at the Sharp end in 2018

Brothers Scott Sharp and Arron Sharp will be aiming to be at the front of their respective grids this year.

The 2017 season featured many highlights for the brothers including a win for Scott in the K-Tec Clio 182 championship and a number of podium finishes including a 2nd place at Oulton Park meant that Scott finished 5th overall in the standings. The two non starts at Thurxton led to the championship challenge fading away.

As for Arron he started of the season well finishing on the podium in the first race of the year, after that things didn't quite go Arron's way. A solid 6th place at Snetterton in race 1 was soon followed by disappointment in the second race with a bad crash. This meant Arron didn't compete for the following round at Croft. A 4th place at Cadwell boasted the results for Arron to finish well. Arron went on to finish 16th overall after missing the Thruxton round as well.

Arron did however compete in the Hot Hatch Championship in the Clio in class B, this proved a good weekend at Silverstone coming away with two 3rd places and some kerb hopping!

However Scott was not to be outdone by the kerb hopping as he proved at Donington in the last round of the year, it certainly got my attention.

For 2018, Scott Sharp will be competing in a different formulae which will be announced soon, as for Arron he will compete in the Clio 182s again unless his car sells. For more information on this great Clio 182 race car check out the link here
